FC St. Pauli

After three consecutive stalemates, FC St. Pauli were held to another draw by Eintracht Braunschweig on Friday evening. Elias Saad gave his side a deserved lead on the hour, only for Thórir Jóhann Helgason to restore parity for the home side ten minutes from time. 

FC St. Pauli drew 4-4 in a thrilling encounter at Karlsruher SC on Saturday afternoon. Schleusener and Wanitzek gave the home side an early 2-0 lead before Eggestein pulled one back, only for Schleuser to restore Karlsuhe’s two-goal advantage. Yet goals from Eggestein and Smith drew the Boys in Brown level before the interval. Kaufman put KSC back in front after the restart, but Daschner restored parity once again and the final game of the year eventually ended all square.

FC St. Pauli slipped to a one-nil defeat at Hannover 96 in front of 16,100 spectators at the HDI Arena on Saturday afternoon. Sebastian Kerk got the only goal of the game in the 39th minute.
